Works have begun on the former garden centre site ahead of a new housing development.
Building works have yet to begin but the developer, Redrow Homes have begun the process of clearing the site ahead of beginning building work in the next couple of months.
The developers met with the Planning and Highways committee at the end of 2021 to ask for feedback on the proposed designs. The design includes;
- 91 new homes including 32 affordable homes.
- Range of housing sizes to be provided, with a focus on family homes
- Substantial public open space provision, which will include an equipped play area.
