SMS appointment reminder messaging service
sent to Patients Mobile Phones
Since the withdrawal on 10 May 2024 of the SMS appointment reminder service (provided by an NHS 3rd party contractor) we have now been able to set up a similar service, integral to the Patient Record System at the Surgery.
Patients should from 14 May now start receiving appointment reminder messages for the various types of appointments we offer at the Surgery.
The option to cancel may still be available and should be used where appropriate as this helps us free up cancelled appointments for other patients. If in any doubt always contact the Surgery to cancel your appointment.
Feedback to the Surgery is v much welcomed during the transitional period.
