Stones Athletic YFC

Stones Athletic Youth Football Club (Standard Charter Development Club) was formed on 22.06.2004. We are a Community Club based in Ingatestone, Essex. We only do positive at Stones and provide a FUN environment for all our players.

The club has a total of 210 players registered, with an age range of U4’s up to U18’s. These players are split across 18 squads, which includes: members of our Saturday club (4-6 year olds), 3 girls teams and then teams ranging from U6’s through to U18’s. The Club has an active girls section and hosts an FA approved Wildcats Centre ages from 6-15 with a pathway into the Ladies team at 16. We pride ourselves on the quality of coaching provided to all age groups. We have pitches for training and matches at Seymour Field and the Anglo European school as well as a floodlight Astroturf training facility at Chelmer Park.

We currently play in The Brentwood Community League and The Blackwater & Dengie Leagues. These offer a mix of festivals, 5-a-side, 7-a-side, 9-a-side and 11-a-side matches with the added opportunity for Futsal for certain age groups.

The Parish Council achieved a Football Foundation Grant for the complete refurbishment of the Seymour Field Pavilion, so we have facilities to offer both boys and girls football.

Our philosophy is to welcome boys and girls of all abilities and help them grow and develop to realise their full potential. The Managers and Coaches focus is to ensure all players are enjoying their football and are playing with a smile on their face.

If you are looking for a friendly Club and wanting to get into football, we would look forward to hearing from you. Please contact us using the contact details below

Welcome to The Arts Society Brentwood District, member society of The Arts Society

We get together to enjoy illustrated art-based lectures from professional speakers who are expert in their field, covering a wide range of topics in the fine and applied arts. We meet once a month, except in August and December.

Besides the lectures, a programme of visits to places of cultural interest is arranged each year, usually two one-day trips and a longer tour of maybe 4 or 5 days.

Church recording is carried out by an active and enthusiastic group from the Society, click here or on Church Recording above for more information. Come along and try us out – you’ll have an enjoyable evening!

About Us

We have about 150 members and don’t have a waiting list – new members are very welcome. We meet every month except August and December on every third Wednesday, 7.30pm for 8pm in Ingatestone.

If you are thinking of joining, please feel free to come along to a few lectures as a visitor initially, if you wish; visitors pay £8 per lecture, or £1 for students under 25 years of age. Members have free attendance at the monthly lectures, access to the visits and tours programme and the freedom of joining the enthusiastic Church Recording volunteer group. They are also able to take advantage of other Arts Society HQ and Essex Area benefits; see more on the Joining Us page.
