IFPC hosted the annual litter pick on 12 June which encouraged a large number of the local community to come out and show their support.
We were very fortunate to have beautiful weather for the day after our previously agreed date had to be rearranged because of the bad weather in May.
We would like to thank all the volunteers that came out to help us including ten members of the rotary club
IFPC chair Paul Jeater says: “Thanks to everyone who took part and to the Community Club for providing us with a base and refreshments for volunteers. We managed to cover a large part of the villages. We filled fewer bags than in previous years which is encouraging. Let’s hope this trend of less litter continues.”
