The cost of living has been increasing rapidly over the past year, making it difficult for many families to make ends meet. Food banks play a crucial role in helping families and individuals who are struggling to afford basic necessities like food. However, they rely heavily on donations from the public to keep their shelves stocked and be able to continue their important work.
Please consider donating to the Brentwood Foodbank – Trussel Trust: you can drop off your donations at the local Budgens and now also in Co-op (thanks to the efforts of Cllr Marston!). Please find below the list of most needed items.
Alternatively, you can donate to the Hope Cafe Foodbank (located at Ingatestone Elim Church) – the cafe is open on Fridays between 9:30am-3pm and is a lovely warm space with affordable drinks and cakes and free WiFi.
