Are you interested in taking up a civic office that can make a real difference to the community Ingatestone and Fryerning Parish Council represents?
Government is more than ever looking to local communities and local councils to respond to very local needs and priorities. You would become part of the democratic framework of the country representing the interests of your community within a broad landscape of national governance.
Time as a Councillor will be challenging, exciting and at time frustrating but training and support are readily available to enable you to gain the personal satisfaction of knowing you and your council have made a difference.
In order to be eligible for the role, you will need to be over 18 and a qualifying citizen and this information is available by contacting the Parish Clerk on 01277 676759 or emailing clerk@ingatestone-fryerningpc.gov.uk.
The deadline for applications is Thursday 9 September 2021 at 5pm. Interested candidates are encouraged to attend Council and committee meetings in September and face to face interviews will take at an Extraordinary Council meeting on the 20th September 2021.
