The first Ingatestone Pop-Up Charity Shop took place this year on Thursday, 30 May, and oin June Ingatestone saw the second pop-up take place in St Edmund & St Mary’s Church Parish Rooms in Stock Lane. The next pop-up is scheduled for 25 July in the same location from 10 AM until 4 AM – donations very welcome from 10 AM until 2 PM.
Made possible with the support of an IFPC grant covering room hire, the pop-up was brought to Ingatestone by Helen Rollason Cancer Charity.
After the first pop-up, Alison Matthews of Helen Rollason Cancer Charity said, “It was lovely to meet customers from Ingatestone and a few people from Chelmsford. On the day we sold clothing, shoes, bags, toys and books. And customer were also able to enjoy tea/coffee and homemade cake for £3.50. We also very much appreciated customers bringing in donations for us to sell on.”
The last pop-up will be held on 26 September.
