We are happy to learn that Glenys Vallis, who runs the Fundangles Bingo and Singing groups at Seymour Pavilion (as well as other groups in the surrounding areas) for those who suffer from dementia and their carers, has had all of her groups added to the Alzheimer’s Dementia Directory. It is a fabulous achievement to be recognised officially as offering support and activities for those living with dementia and their carers (as up until this date, there was no information for dementia support groups/dementia friendly activity events for Brentwood & Chelmsford). Congratulations!

Fundangles Musical afternoons in Ingatestone have been very popular, so there is now another afternoon in Great Baddow in Chelmsford, and everyone is very welcome to both venues.
Side by Side support groups have also grown, and there are now three of them: in Ingatestone, Galleywood and Great Baddow.
Recently, a new free Activity & Social afternoon at Hutton Community Centre was open as well; it takes place every 2nd & 4th Friday afternoon at 1.30-3.30pm.

Xmas themed activities / Santa’s table tennis / songs, games & quizzes.
Thursday 15 December: Christmas Singalong afternoon.
‘It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas’ – themed songs & carols, lots of favorites. Come along for the last meet up until the New Year.
